Our driver-guide packages have been developed because many people want to travel in couple or a small group of relatives or friends with a certain level of freedom to choose what they want to visit or do in the day, but without having the hassles of finding the hotel for the night or having the stress of driving in an unfamiliar country.

We solve all these problems without compromising your sense of freedom. In communication by email before the trip with our commercial staff we work out the program as you want it, with hotels confirmed, entrances and meals included as you wish, and transportation secured on the days you want. On top a professional guide will go along who will drive your vehicle and give you assistance and explanations when you want in the language you prefer.

All visits all over the island are possible to be included in the programs. If there is a road we bring you there. If you want to change the routing on the spot it can be discussed and arranged with the driver-guide.

We include in the packages all costs of lodging and meals for the driver-guide, as well as costs for the car (insurance, gasoline) for the mileage as agreed. Extra usage of the car can be settled on the spot.

We apply a few rules:

- the hotels where you stay during the package must be booked through us.
- in case you begin or end the rental outside of the Havana-Varadero area there is a surcharge.
- the rental must be minimum 3 days in a row.

BEST OF THE WEST

A round tour, which is even possible for 2 people (with your own guide.) Visit the 3 beautiful cities of Cuba: Havana the swinging capital city, Cienfuegos, the third city of Cuba full of French influence and Trinidad, the colonial city from 1514. This program has a variation of culture and the beautiful nature of Cuba.

Description of Program day by day

Day 1 You arrive in the airport of Havana or Varadero. Welcome by our representative and transfer to your Havana hotel. Here you stay at the 4 stars hotel Ambos Mundos (or similar in the Old Town). Overnight in bed and breakfast.

Day 2 At 09.00 AM you meet your guide in the lobby for a walking tour through Old Havana. Lunch is included today in the famous Hemingway restaurant Bodeguita del Medio. Afternoon is free to explore Havana individually. Overnight in bed and breakfast.

Day 3 Day at leisure. Overnight in bed and breakfast.

Day 4 At 08.00 check out and meeting of the guide. From today onwards you have the vehicle at disposition. We suggest an excursion to Pinar del Rio, and the Valley of Vinales where the best tobacco of Cuba grows and a unique landscape with “mogotos” rock formations can be seen. We include the visit to the cigar factory. The ride ends at the 4 stars Hotel Mokha (bed and breakfast) or the 3 stars Soroa (bed, reakfast and dinner) according to availability. Both hotels are located in the ecological region of the Sierra del Rosario.

Day 5 At 09.00 AM you have an excursion through the nature reserve of Las Terrazas with visits to the river San Juan and the Coffee Plantation Buenavista. Around 01.00 PM you drive to Cienfuegos. Overnight at the 4 stars hotel Jagua (bed and breakfast).

Day 6 At 09.00 AM we suggest an excursion to Trinidad for a visit to the historical centre and the Valley of the Sugar Mills. Overnight at the 4 stars hotel Jagua (bed and breakfast)

Day 7 At 09.00 AM we have planned an excursion to the Escambraye mountains. You will visit the waterfalls “ El Nicho.” Lunch is included today. In case of inaccessibility of the mountain road by car guests do a boat trip on the bay. Overnight at the 4 stars hotel Jagua (bed and breakfast).

Day 8 Check out. In due time we bring you to the airport of Varadero or Havana for departure. If you wish to extent your stay in a beach resort in Varadero we drop you off there. Just let us know.
